Biography

ALMAS, deriving from the Spanish translation of Soul, ALMAS vision of his project is to showcase the heart and soul of each genre he explores. With a long history in the Bay Area Big Room & EDM industry as a part of Vital Events, Trance Family SF, Dreamstate Adam Jones-Mackay capitalized on his love for electronic music and launched ALMAS, while also co- founding Polaris Presents in San Francisco, throwing events all over California.

Finding a home in Techno/House/& Indie Dance, ALMAS has shared the stage with Arty, Morten, ZHU, Cristoph, Bob Moses, Genix, Dosem, Nicole Moudaber and plenty more at events such as; Fresh Start NYE at Midway SF, Anjunabeats Worldwide Tour '09 & '10 at Halcyon SF, and E Komo Mai Festival in Hawaii. Played at popular venues such as; Audio, The Great Northern, Madarae, Public Works, The Mint SF, & Gold Bar Hangar. The California DJ is also slated to release debut material in 2026, which will be sure to represent a new era for ALMAS.
