EMIL TOLEDO

BIOGRAPHY

Emil Toledo is an artist shaped by contrast — originally from Miami, raised in Peru, and now rooted across the West Coast of the U.S. His cross-cultural upbringing and evolving artistic identity have deeply influenced his sound: a refined blend of Progressive House and Techno that lives in the space between emotion and structure.

Emil’s musical journey began with a strong foundation in DJing through the DJ College of Music. Early residencies with Red Bull and Pioneer in South America helped him gain recognition and momentum, eventually leading to performances alongside global heavyweights such as Cristoph, Guy J, Darren Emerson, Sandra Collins, and Christian Smith. His sets are known for their warmth, precision, and deep, hypnotic energy — a thoughtful approach that resonates whether he’s playing intimate clubs or larger stages.

Transitioning naturally into music production, Emil began collaborating with Latin American artists, developing a distinct sonic voice shaped by both passion and discipline. In 2025, he made a breakthrough debut on Lane 8’s This Never Happened, signaling a pivotal moment in his career — from promising talent to a name worth watching.

Now a resident artist for Polaris Presents, Emil regularly performs in iconic venues across San Francisco and Los Angeles, including Halcyon, Monarch, The Great Northern, and Audio SF, here his debut alongside Ocula during Le Youth’s About Us tour marked a career highlight.

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Music Production and Sound Design at Berklee College of Music, Emil remains dedicated to long-term artistic growth over short-lived trends. His music captures not just where he’s been, but where he’s headed always with intention, depth, and a vision that continues to evolve.
